Learning Outcomes and Application This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement a documentation control strategy for an organisation implementing a competitive systems and practices strategy which is part of the value stream for such an organisation. The documentation control strategy might be needed to comply with AS/NZS ISO 9000:2016 Quality management systems - Fundamentals and vocabulary or other reasons.This unit applies to a manager, technical specialist or similar who is required to use problem solving, initiative, planning and organising skills to develop and/or improve a system to ensure operations and related supporting documents are controlled in a manner which is appropriate for their use in the organisation.No licensing or certification requirements exist at the time of publication. Relevant legislation, industry standards and codes of practice within Australia must be applied.
Duration and Setting X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting.
